With measuring for an Enclosed Stove Top Cover the following is needed:
The width of the actual stove top.
The depth of the actual stove top.
The max height from the bench top surface to the highest point of the stove top (This is so we know how much clearance height to allow for).
How much bench space is available from the front of the stove top to the end of the bench top (as the front of the enclosure has to sit on there and we have to make sure there is room).
How much bench space is available from the back of the stove top to the splash back (as the back of the enclosure has to sit on there and we have to make sure there is room).
Notes
The timber thickness is 25mm so if there isn't that much room between the back of the stove top and the splash back, the enclosed stove top cover will need to have an open back (which will sit flush against the splash back).
Point 3 requires the max height, which in some situations means the nobs of the stove top may be higher than the black grates. Which is the max height measurement that is required.
Cushion pads are placed under each stove top cover to ensure there is no scratching of the stove top cover, the bench top or the stove top itself.

Notes
The timber thickness is 25mm, so it is important to double check the space beween the black grates and the edge of the stove top is greater than 25mm (on all 4 sides of the stove top).
